Every wedding – no matter how large or small – involves many details to be looked after.  To simplify your planning, we have compiled this list of items you may not have considered in the excitement of creating your special day.  Other questions are answered in the FAQ section. Of course, your dedicated Event Sales Manager is on hand to answer any other questions or concerns you may have.


  • Seating Arrangements and Room Set-up – Most rooms can be set up to match your plans. We offer flexible seating ranging from 8 to 12 guests per table.
  • Dance Floor and Risers - These are fully mobile and adaptable to your specifications.
  • Ceremony Room - Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine can create a ceremony space, set in the round or chapel style.
  • Order of Events – From traditional to your own unique vision, allow your Event Sales Manager to assist you in deciding the flow of your day.
  • Audio-Visual equipment – Our on-site audio-visual experts can help you execute your ideas, from a slide show to special lighting.
  • Parking – Discounted Rates for Valet and self-parking are available.


  • Gold Passport - Hyatt Gold Passport points are awarded for all food and beverage purchased for your wedding at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine. One point will be awarded for each dollar spent for all events starting after 5 p.m. Points can be used toward future overnight accommodations.
  • Pricing - A Food and Beverage minimum is applied to all events at Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine. A non-refundable deposit will be required with the signed contract. Your final balance is due ten business days prior to your wedding. Our menus and pricing are subject to change without notice until a final contract is signed. All Food and Beverage is subject to a Service Charge and Sales Tax.
  • Guarantee - A final number of guests is required by 11:00 AM three business days prior to your event. This number is your guarantee and may not be lowered. The hotel will be prepared for 3% over the guaranteed count. Final charges are based on your guarantee or actual attendance, whichever is greater.
