To ensure your event meets your standards, all the event spaces at Hyatt Regency La Jolla offer individual controls for heat / air conditioning, sound, music, telephones, multiple electrical / microphone outlets, audiovisual equipment, special lighting effects and 100V single-phase and 220V single-phase electricity. (Three-phase electricity available upon request.)

Aventine Ballroom

Our versatile 11,800 square foot room, with an 18-foot high ceiling is, by far, the largest function space in the exclusive La Jolla area. Large-scale theatrical staging fits easily in this chameleon-like facility with seven sections. Choose this state-of-the-art space when you need to accommodate up to 1,300 in a theater set up, hold a series of seminars, host a formal banquet for 1,080, or hold a reception for up to 2,000 guests. Adjacent to the lavishly landscaped Asteria Terrace, the Aventine Ballroom is ideal for general sessions, spacious breakouts and food and beverage functions, including galas and weddings.

Vicino Ballroom

Incorporate an outdoor setting into your indoor function within the stunning 5,850 square foot glass-enclosed Vicino Ballroom; accommodate up to 440 for formal dining, 500 for a cocktail reception or theater-style event and 300 for a classroom set-up. Set apart from the main building by a small path, your guests will enjoy the natural light and lush surroundings of this unique space.

Palmero Boardroom

Our preset boardroom offers a welcoming, residential styling with warm, polished woods and high back leather chairs. Seating is available for up to 14 people.

Asteria Terrace

This outdoor terrace provides the perfect setting for beautiful cocktail parties or dinners with an oversized fireplace, accommodating 200 for formal dining and up to 350 for a cocktail reception.

San Remo, Palatine, Portofino

Ranging from 493 to 986 square feet, these elegant salons on the ballroom level fit a wide use of set-ups ranging from Banquet Rounds to Hollow Square. Select any of these superbly appointed salons to use in conjunction with larger functions held in the Aventine Ballroom, or as more intimate space for high-level meetings. Capacities range from 23 to 47 for a U-shape setting, 26 to 50 for Hollow Square, 30 to 66 for classroom, 50 to 110 for theater-style, 80 to 170 for a cocktail reception and 48 to 96 for formal dining.

Delphi, Athenia, Mykonos

Select these well-designed salons to use at their full 986 square feet, or divide the room using one 493 square foot section for your session and the other for breaks and dining. Capacities range from 23 to 47 for a U-shape setting, 26 to 50 for Hollow Square, 30 to 66 for classroom, 50 to 110 for theater-style, 80 to 170 for a cocktail reception and 48 to 96 for formal dining.

Milos and Rhodes

Choose these elegant 756 square foot salons on the second floor conference level for every type function. Just across the hall from one another, these versatile rooms located at the end of the corridor offer privacy for everything from VIP meetings to intimate family gatherings. Capacities range from 24 for a U-shape setting to 60 for a cocktail reception.
